EMBASSIES
THE EMBASSY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
The State Department commissioned the firm “The Architects Collaborative” (TAC), a reputable company based in the U.S., to design new facilities for its embassy in Egypt, located in the historic Garden City section of Downtown Cairo. TAC appointed WASSEF as the host country Architect/Engineer consultant to assist in the design development, material selection, and zoning codes-related issues. The services were extended to the responsibility of Architect and Engineer of Record with respect to Egyptian Municipality Agencies. The addition to the existing compound will include embassy offices, visa services, large public meeting areas, the Ambassador's residence, and quarters for the Marine Security Guard.
