SCOTIABANK
SCOTIABANK commissioned WASSEF to design the interior fit-out of their regional branch in Egypt. The branch occupies the ground, first and second floors of an existing building in an attractive and prestigious area in Giza. Special attention was given to electrical and tele data requirements. Accessibility for persons with special needs was on top of the list of priorities. The goal was to design spaces which would support banking operations of the 21st century in a uniquely modern and contemporary appearance to reflect the company's image worldwide. A bold large-scaled paneled façade with modern pattern was complemented by metallic cladding and golden stones. The similarity in the treatment of façades and internal design features used in the other bank branches globally responds to the client's request of maintaining a constant corporate image for SCOTIABANK.
